3. Domain Extension
   • Typically (.com), but can be changed

These 3 parts combined make up the most basic type of Domain Name. This address is used by the universal DNS (Domain Name System) which “translates” the “human readable” version of the domain space into the computer representation (IP Address) of that same web space.
